We are excited to share our latest partnership here in Zambia. At the end of August we will be travelling to Chengelo School, situated near Mkushi in the Central Province of Zambia.
They offer a first class learning environment where pupils are prepared for the University of Cambridge International GCSE and A-Level exams.
They are proud of their achievements. Only recently, one of their pupils, Stephanie Nyambe, from Chengelo School in Mkushi achieved the highest standard marks in the world in the November 2016 Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE).
Not only highly academic, this school is exemplary in their commitment to protect and safeguard the children it serves.
With an existing Child Safeguarding Policy, they are keen for Tehila to assist them to further strengthen their child safeguarding procedures and systems and raise the awareness of child safety within the school.
We are privileged to be able to walk alongside them as they do this.
The financial donation that organisations such as Chengelo make to Tehila for the assistance we provide, contributes to sustaining and enabling us to facilitate our programmes with local churches and organisations in the materially poorer areas of the country.
We want to thank Chengelo for supporting the work of Tehila Zambia and we look forward to our 2-day training programme in August.
